We are thrilled to announce that IL ROSSO E IL NERO (Red & Black) is complete! This historical short film, set in Calabria between the 1930s and 1960s, tells the powerful story of two brothers divided by ideology—Antonio, who leaves for America in pursuit of freedom and love, and Salvatore, who remains behind, loyal to the homeland. Their bond, fractured by war, loss, and political beliefs, ultimately comes full circle in a moving reconciliation decades later. With filming wrapped, the project is now preparing to enter film festivals worldwide—so keep an eye out for its premiere on the circuit!

Against the backdrop of Calabria from the 1930s to the 1960s, our cameras follow the emotional journey of two brothers—Antonio, who departs for America in pursuit of freedom and love, and Salvatore, who stays behind bound by loyalty to the homeland. Their bond, fractured by war, ideology, and loss, becomes the heart of the story, culminating in a poignant reconciliation decades later. Filming this project feels like capturing history through the lens of family, ideology, and the enduring struggle to find common ground.
It is with great excitement that we announce our victory in the 'ROIFA Rome Outcast Independent Film Award' competition. The award ceremony for the annual edition will take place at the official screening room of the 'Cine Tv Roberto Rossellini' film institute in Rome.
